In my search for the most compatible skin care regime, I tried the Burt's Bees Acne Solutions facial cleanser and moisturizer. The plus about these products are that they are 99.9 percent all natural. They utilize willow tree bark and other natural ingredients to clear your complexion and give you glowing skin. However, these products did not work for me. The gel cleanser was about $10 and the moisturizer set me back $20.
For the first couple days, like any product, it seemed a nice refreshing change. I could smell the natural ingredients and for a bit my skin felt softer. Over time the results changed. I used these products day and night for about 3 weeks straight and I got the feeling they weren't cleaning my skin well enough. I also didn't like how the moisturizer wasn't very light.
So, Good Bye, I returned the products back to Walgreen's and the search continues. Do you have any beauty products you swear by?

The Scoop on bareMinerals
I have a love hate relationship with bareMinerals. It's a really good product when you have the perfect shade. The trick is finding the perfect match. I wasn't aware, until recently, that the brand's foundation has two different blends: Original and Matte.
The Original formula has specks of sparkle. It's meant to create a "glow" or shine depending on how it shows on your skin. The Matte formula is just that. It's a little tough to see and they aren't the same exact colors but the swatch on the left is the Original and the one on the right is Matte.
Since switching to the Matte, bareMinerals and I are getting along better. Hope this helps those of you with finding your "just right" shade of bare Minerals.
